Today I started a new quilt! I had to dye the fabrics and now I'm very excited to see how it turns out! The base for my idea came from the paintings of the robes the Buddhas wore, the colors are rust and a golden, very similar to the monks robes that they wear now. Ill keep you posted!

Annie these are marvelous! They don't appear to be "stuffed" in any way. Are the backsides as pretty as the street-facing sides? It looks as if they took a full sized top , folded it vertically and called it a door!
Hi, do these door coverings have any belief/superstition behind them or are they purely decorative? ( I hope you get my meaning, )
