here is the quilt top i finished today!!!!

i seem to be having a problem viewing my own blog but i hope that you can still se it!
today i finished another quilt top, and ready to move on the next one, what ever it might be! maybe ill dye some fabric today.....

this is a half eaten bowl of dau hu! its tofu and ginger syrup, i eat two blows of this almost every day!

this is my friend hong, she is quilting one of my quilts, she is very good at it and very fast!

today is thursday the 29th, cyd left after spending 3 weeks here. i thought that i would now have a visitor free time till i go to bhutan but my friend hung from hanoi will be here for a few days ...... o well it is nice to have friends come visit.

here is the xe ma man again, i just love this stuff, isnt it pretty???? i have never seen another westerner there so the locals always smile when they see me squating on the tiny stools eating xe ma!

here are my friends phuong, on the right and hong, i go there almost every day and wait for the dau hu lady.... she didnt come today, very sad, i will post a photo of dau hu tomorrow, i hope!

this was at my friends dung and mais house cyd and i went to dinner there on his last night. i forgot to take pictures of the fantastic food!

good morning! its wednesdat here and im having my morning coffee and trying to make this sound interesting to everyone!
my friend cyd is still here, he leaves tomorrow and today we are running all over town picking up things he has had made, shirts pants robe..... it is shoppers heaven here!
the sun is out today thats a nice change, but last night i had to wear a sweater!!! it really does get cold here!

this was at ba be lake in the northeast of vietnam. cyd and i are sitting in the kitchen of the guesthouse just about to eat an incredible meal!

i finaly got all mt fabrics and dyes and have been having a great time! these are some of my new pieces.... many more to come.

there are some days when i never leave the house, just quilt and dye and enjoy my life!!!
